Penetrating sealer applied to face before grouting. Wipe excess, allow 4 hr cure. Failure to pre-seal will discolor the pigment face permanently.
Walk-traffic at 72 hr. Furniture at 7 days. Final post-grout seal at 21 days when the cement has fully off-gassed.
pH-neutral cleaner, soft mop. Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus) and bleach — they will etch the pigment face.
Penetrating sealer every 18 – 24 months in residential, 12 months in hospitality. We send a sealer-kit reminder by post.
A single tile can be cut out and replaced. Order three spare tiles per 100 sq ft installed and store in original packaging.
Cement tile lightens 5 – 8% in the first six months and stabilizes. This is expected and welcome.
